ATTN users:
Josh (jns) has safely arrived in his vacation destination, but there is some bad news. The Wi-Fi that is there, is crap, and will not allow him to host the server.
The server will not be back up until January 13th, 2012

Wi-Fi shouldent be used to host ANYTHING. PERIOD. It dosen't work well.

laptops shouldnt be servers, servers are not normally considered "portable"

The problem isn't about laptop server hosting but about why you, the admins can't host the server too. Because when someone can't host the server, as the present situation, other admin could host it. Just my humble opinion, if not possible I'll understand.
ps.: Someone can say me how is the laptop configuration. (i'm a geek)

I guess I could host... oh wait... my laptop is only connected to the internet when im not working 12+ hours a day...
a hosted server to me has an impersonal touch in my opinion... the actors are the same, however the environment is not...
