what about PIPA, to be honest, i never could figure out why people want to be soldiers to die for this country... to protect our rights? naw, that isnt it... politicians are more than happy to take them away... patriot act has the TSA strip searching you, no more 4th amendment, NDAA took away the 6th amendment just by labelling you a terrorist and some technicality in the verbage of the act... 8th amendment doesnt work with todays laws (example new law effective 1/2/2012, for commercial drivers to have phone on side of face, $2750 fine to driver and $11,000 fine to the company, 30 points on liscense, however drunk driving is far less than that), 16th amendment completely reverses the original constitution about income tax... so on and so forth, lots of things that are very grey, like ObamaCare, somehow under the commerce clause of the constitution, congress felt they could extend their powers of interstate commerce to whether or not an individual has the right NOT to have insurance...
trust me... congress is getting into single digit approval ratings (9%ish), where even the country of IRAN is getting better approval ratings... but whatever... as long as there is a politician alive, you will have people wanting to take rights away from you, legistlate you, and how you live, because they feel you are not responsible enough to take care of yourself...
